Breaking news, petrol bomb attack, Real IRA Dublin, Sinn Fein attack, Aengus O Snodaigh TD, Dublin Sinn Fein
A Sinn Féin TD’s constituency office has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack today. The attack comes in the wake of Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams describing Alan Ryan and the Real IRA in Dublin as gangsters and stating that he supported the arrest of 17 dissident republican activists following Alan Ryan’s funeral. Other senior Sinn Fein members in Dublin constantly briefed the national and international media that Alan Ryan was a drug dealer and gangster.
The incident happened at Aengus O Snodaigh’s office in Ballyfermot in south Dublin. Mr O Snodaigh recently made the headlines when it was discovered that he had taken 50,000 Euros worth of print cartridges from Leinster House.
It is understood the petrol bomb was thrown into the hallway of the shared building at about 3pm and caused only minor smoke damage.
No-one was injured and the incident was quickly dealt with. It is known that British agents at the head of the Dissident Groups have been protecting Sinn Fein members from dissident attack, however, that may be about to change due to the language used by Sinn Fein members against Alan Ryan, his family and Real IRA associates.
