IRA Chief of Staff Colin Duffy has been released without charge
The 45-year-old was detained on Wednesday in Lurgan as part of an ongoing investigation by PSNI Serious Crime Branch.
Duffy is a high-profile figure within hard-line republicanism who is known to be opposed to the British power-sharing government in the north.
He was questioned at Antrim Serious Crime Suite and released on Thursday pending a report to the PPS.
